The Black Lake is a lake in Prydain. Its the lake in the Eagle Mountains (the mountain range in Prydain containing Caer Dathyl) that leads to the Realm of the Fair Folk. It malfunctions during the events of The Book of Three and allows Taran and the companions to enter the Realm of the Fair Folk.
