The Book of Three

Gwydion and Meylngar find Taran while he is searching for Hen Wen. Gwydion finally decides that Taran and himself are brought together by destiny, and they stay together. Gwydion meets up with Gurgi, and Taran and Gurgi take an immediate dislike to each other. Later, Evil Queen Achren finds and captures them. After her castle is struck by lightning and falls down, Gwydion is presumed dead. Gwydion catches up with Taran, Princess Eilonwy and Fflewddur Fflam right before The Horned King kills them, and kills the King. He then forces the Cauldron-Born to return to Annuvin. Taran finally discovers that Gwydion was not dead, and the two friends are reunited.
