Oeth-Anoeth was a stronghold of Arawn Death-Lord, a place of torture and terror lying not far from Annuvin the Land of Death. In its dungeons a person could be tortured body and mind. A sense of malevolent enchantment hung about the place, for Gwydion -- after learning the secrets of life and death -- was able to walk away from the strange fortress as though its walls had melted. Oeth-Anoeth was possibly located in the Hills of Bran-Galedd.
