Hey Ace, Black Cauldron is definitely on Disney+! Just so you know.
Ace Acabras, you're probably right! The photo looks 80s-era, and I have heard from another fan that they saw the characters there in that period.
So fun to see a live-action Taran and Eilonwy! No other such photograph exists that I have ever seen. Someone feel free to prove me wrong!
Oh, that's wonderful, Harpgrl! I myself first read The Book of Three in late 1978, during the time when Star Wars mania was gripping the world. I saw the connections right away, and even imagined Gwydion as Harrison Ford! In fact I used my Kenner action figures to play "Prydain", using Chewbacca as Gurgi, and customizing Leia's hair with yellow paint! Those were the good old days, as they say.
Wonderful! Thank you for commenting, Michael. Feel free to create a page on the wiki about your books, noting that they are inspired by the Prydain series.
I've never seen any posters of the book covers, or of any images from the books except for stuff from the Disney film. It's too bad there isn't more Prydain imagery out there; most of what exists is purely fan-made.
I agree! However, I have scoured the internet for images that match the author's descriptions of the Cauldron-born, and nothing really comes close. So, until such time as an artist provides us with more accurate images, we're left with the ones we have.
